What happens when the raw electricity of Jimi Hendrix meets the passion, rhythm and improvisational language of flamenco?
The Juanito Pascual Trio brings these two worlds together in a striking acoustic celebration of Hendrix — reimagined through flamenco guitar, jazz intuition and deep rhythmic interplay.
Juanito Pascual grew up on Hendrix before discovering flamenco and the transformative possibilities of the guitar through masters such as Paco de Lucía. Decades later, those influences converge in a project that is intimate, powerful and completely original.
Hendrix classics including “Little Wing,” “All Along the Watchtower,” “The Wind Cries Mary” and “Fire” are transformed through the language of flamenco — alongside original compositions by Pascual and atmospheric soundscape interludes.

JUANITO PASCUAL — Guitar
A celebrated flamenco guitarist, composer and improviser whose work moves fluidly between flamenco, jazz, rock, blues and classical music. He has performed at Lincoln Center, Blue Note Jazz Club and major international festivals.
BRAD BARRETT — Upright Bass
A versatile bassist bringing deep time, clarity and an instinctive sense of interplay. His musical language draws from jazz, roots and improvised music.
TUPAC MANTILLA — Percussion
Grammy-nominated percussionist with a global rhythmic vocabulary. Mantilla has performed with artists including Bobby McFerrin and Zakir Hussain, appearing at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Montreux and Newport Jazz Festival.
